CANDIDATE MEMBER

(those who are in the process of attaining either the CRA or AACI appraisal designation, who perform real estate appraisals with the appraisals co-signed by an appraiser holding the CRA or AACI designation)

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

(those who work in other areas of real estate valuation and will not be performing appraisals for a fee, such as those who are employed by government departments and financial institutions)

DESIGNATED MEMBER

(those who have complete the requirements for either the CRA or AACI designations, and who wish to appear before the Committee of Examiners for the Oral Examination)

TEMPORARY MEMBER

(fee appraisers who reside outside of the province of Nova Scotia and wish to apply for Temporary Membership for a period of three months)

NSREAA Continuing Professional Development Report

In October/November of each year, a copy of the CPD Record Page(s) containing creditable experience for the one-year period (Oct 1 - Set 30) must be sent to the NSREAA office for posting.
